All Aboout Venus Conjunct Chiron

We've got a Venus conjunction Chiron on April 21st that shines possibly the brightest spotlight on wounds associated with feeling lovable, worthy, and accepted. These are the wounds that prevent us from manifesting abundance and allowing ourselves to fully feel worthy of pleasure. These are also wounds connected to belonging among loved ones and belonging to ourselves.

As this conjunction nears, these wounds could open up again for some fresh air and perhaps a little cleansing.

Especially a few days leading up to this conjunction, wounds may feel slightly ripped open again and you could experience triggers that bring you back in time.

This is the Universe purging what must go friend, your job will be to know this and keep on healing your way through it.

You may experience triggers around abandonment, rejection, and betrayal. Consider this the official invitation to let go of old pain.

And I'm going to double down and say it, this time could be the breakthrough on your healing journey that dissolves blockages around abundance and brings in the heightened level of awareness that simply wasn't accessible to you before. It's like a veil being lifted.

This conjunction is something to truly pay attention to in the coming days.

Around this time, we may experience a turning point in our relationships with others as well as with ourselves. And before you panic, this isn't a bad thing!

This could make you love your partner more than ever before and have the feeling be so beautifully mutual, or it could have you rethinking your attraction all together. If the latter occurs, just know that this conjunction, along with the energy around our Full Moon in Scorpio on April 23rd, bring in something more meaningful and more aligned.

This could also apply to your career, your intimate friendships, your family, as well as your relationship to the past and its unhealthy hold on you.

This little healing journey that Venus takes us on as she crosses the North Node, will set in motion changes that we simply cannot predict. This is just my way of offering some possibilities.

As we round out our month of healing, we will have opportunities to observe any fears that may emerge. We will also see where we have been investing our energy and where it has not been returned. Chiron will be so keen on turning our focus to observing what happens when we don’t compromise on our authenticity and just allow ourselves to feel worthy of all the good for once.

Venus in Aries emboldens us to connect to our intuitive instinct and to our authentic selves, while Chiron in Aries is the “wound of self.”

Aries, a fire sign ruled by Mars, the planet of energy and physical action, is associated with confidence, drive, and sometimes force.

Chiron in Aries is the opposite. It pulls on us to find our core sense of self beyond the physical and the performative, and toward our true essence.

It shows us where we lack this and like a scared child on the first day of school, we may shy away from what we need to learn and desperately run back toward home, to what feels familiar. It would be easy for me to say “just don’t" but, it's so much more nuanced and complicated than that.

From the start of the month, Venus’s journey through Aries offered us an opportunity to examine our values and show up with awareness. It highlighted our values, our boundaries and simply asked us to define what it is that we want.

This next conjunction with Chiron reminds us how conflict with others or within ourselves is really an invitation to deepen our capacity to love and feel loved in return. It is an invitation to learn more about our relationships, our needs and ourselves.

This is an intimate look into what makes you feel worthy and where you may be blocked from finally feeling this at your core. I really feel like it is the time we experience a turning point in our healing journey.

What we discussed in Saturday's newsletter about Venus conjunct the North Node has set the healing wheels in motion. It will be up to you to grease those wheels with self-love, repair them when they break down by asking for help, and to keep your tank full by being aware and nourishing yourself.

Get curious and be open to diving into your own origin story and where the disbelief in or dismissal of self may have started.

Begin a gentle practice of encouraging and loving your own inner child, as well as yourself in this present moment. This means outside of accomplishments and societal accolades and expectations of others, this is about you at your core.

Make a list of what you love to do, what brings you healing and peace. On the other side of the paper, add to this list what you are good at, it could be anything from loading the fridge with precision to being a good listener and friend. Let this list grow in the coming days as Chiron and Venus get ready to do their cosmic dance.

This gentle approach to unearthing what you love, what brings you healing, and what your talents are, allows you to understand yourself more intimately and with compassion.

This could be what your inner child needs right now and what you've needed all along. You have a need to be encouraged and to be seen. Allowing yourself to be your own healer, which perhaps might feel uncomfortable in the beginning, is a gift you can give to yourself as you heal and move forward.

You are so worthy friend, and this is the perfect time to finally believe that.

Here are some mantras that for me, spark feelings of self worth and love.

Mantras

I hold myself safe and close as I bravely step into the unknown path ahead.

I honor my talents both known and unknown, as they have lead me exactly to where I'm supposed to be.

I trust myself during this pivotal time as I am worthy of all that is good.
