All About The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse In Pisces

We are moving into one of the most dynamic stretches of September. Uranus is about to station retrograde in Gemini at the first degree and will remain in reverse motion until February 3rd of 2026, eventually slipping back into Taurus at the 27th degree before it moves forward again.

Just two days after that shift begins, we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces at the 15th degree, carrying a mix of intensity, breakthrough, and incredible luck. These are not small, passing influences. Together they open doors, close others, and ask for a new level of truth in how we live.

Uranus retrograde is always a time when change works from the inside out. In Gemini at the first degree, the retrograde begins with a focus on how we think, speak, and connect. The first degree of any sign is the raw, unfiltered essence of that sign’s energy, and Gemini’s essence is curiosity, mental agility, and the ability to hold multiple perspectives at once. This retrograde start may bring surprising reversals in communication patterns, new ways of thinking about problems, or shifts in how we gather and share information.

As Uranus moves backward into Taurus at the 27th degree, the focus changes. Taurus rules stability, resources, and the physical foundations of our lives. The 27th degree carries maturity and finality, often marking a phase where long-standing patterns in security, money, and comfort are ready to be restructured. Moving from Gemini’s first degree to Taurus’s 27th is a movement from raw mental spark to seasoned, grounded transformation.

In the home, we could see shifts in how we use space, who we share it with, or where we choose to live. Romantic life may go through a reevaluation, especially if conversations have been avoided. Financially, there could be unconventional opportunities that require a step away from traditional methods. Spiritually, this is a time to examine whether your beliefs are your own or inherited from others, and to seek out perspectives that expand rather than confine.

The Eclipse falls at the 15th degree of Pisces. The fifteenth degree is the midpoint of the sign, carrying a sense of balance between the raw idealism of early Pisces and the seasoned wisdom of its later degrees. It is a degree of synthesis, where dreams can be translated into form without losing their magic. In Pisces, it holds the power of empathy, imagination, and the ability to dissolve what no longer serves into something more fluid and whole.

This Eclipse is supported by an out of sign sextile between Saturn and Uranus, which creates the stability needed to make change stick. Jupiter sends generous support to both the Sun and Moon, turning the spotlight toward expansion and opportunity. Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, plays a major role, aligning closely with Uranus and enhancing the visionary quality of the moment.

Pluto works in sync with Uranus, opening channels for financial gain or strategic transformation. The pace of events could feel fast, and business or responsibilities may build quickly, but this is not an eclipse designed to drain you. It is here to recharge your emotional and creative batteries, even if you need to pause along the way.

The Eclipse at the fifteenth degree of Pisces falls at a point in the sign where vision meets lived experience. This degree carries the ability to hold the full scope of a dream while knowing exactly what must dissolve for it to survive in the real world. It is the place in the Piscean journey where compassion stops enabling and starts transforming. At this midpoint, Pisces is no longer drifting. It has gathered wisdom from the tides it has already navigated, and it now understands how to direct that current toward a destination.

Under this Eclipse, the fifteenth degree becomes a pivot between release and rebirth. What you let go of now is not being abandoned, rather it is being sent back into the waters to be remade into something that can meet you where you are going.

The days between now and the Eclipse are not here to push you into chaos, they are here to realign you with the version of yourself that can thrive in the months ahead. Uranus retrograde will work in the background for a long time, reshaping the way you think, speak, and secure your world.

The Eclipse will bring certain turning points into sharp focus, clearing away what stands in the way of that growth. If the pace feels fast, take breaks without losing sight of what is opening for you. There is no need to rush into every opportunity at once, but there is every reason to trust that the changes arriving now are leading you toward something more aligned. You’re amazing.

Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Ritual:

This ritual works with the Pisces themes of water, intuition, and compassionate release.

- Begin in a quiet space with a bowl of water large enough to hold your hands comfortably. Place a small amount of sea salt in the water and stir it slowly, imagining it clearing away emotional residue.

- Write down what you are ready to release, these can be habits, relationships, beliefs, or emotions that have clouded your clarity.

- When you are ready, read each one aloud, then dip your hands into the water and let the paper dissolve if it is thin enough, or set it aside if not. As you hold your hands in the water, imagine the energy of each release flowing out of you, leaving you lighter and more open.

- When you are finished, pour the water onto the earth, into a garden, or at the base of a tree, offering what you have released back to the ground to be transformed.

- Close with a few moments of stillness, visualizing the space you have created within yourself filling with light and possibility.

Three Mantras for this Eclipse and Retrograde:

Change begins with the truths I am willing to face.

Releasing the weight clears the way for my next chapter.

I choose the connections, resources, and beliefs that keep me free.
