All About Venus' Transit Through the North Node

In the realm of astrology, Venus is associated with how we love and how we wish to be loved. It also indicates what we value as true wealth, and how much we value ourselves. Whether our relationship with money, pleasure, or sensuality, this little Venusian vibration is one of the same.

This means that self-love, self-worth, and self-care, will dictate how true abundance and romantic love shows up in our lives.

It's all connected friend, and my goodness this will be highlighted this month as we dive deeper into our healing journey day after day.

But I really believe that it is these Venusian shifts and transits that bring collective change into our awareness and really try to inform us of potential change in our relationships and financial habits.

Simply put, Venus is giving us a serious roadmap in order to change course now, and it really is up to us to choose to stay open, or repeat the lessons at year's end with our Fall eclipse season.

I say this because not only do I think that Venus is one of the most influential planets when it comes to our healing right now, but also because Venus is going to cross the North Node of the Moon on April 17, and at the same time, oppose the South Node.

This is relevant because Venus is the planetary ruler of the South Node which is now in Libra, which is the opposite sign of Aries. Whew! You got that? Because even laying all that out there was a little confusing for me.

Let's simplify it this way: it's like the Universe is putting up this huge mirror for us to see the truth in our relationships and the truth of how we view wealth and abundance. Who truly loves you, who is truly here for you, and who damn well isn't, will surface in the coming weeks. The key will be to trust what comes through and not rush into decision making just yet.

Observe what is happening and allow yourself to feel emotions from a grounded state, and love on yourself as much as possible as we head closer to April 17th.

Staying grounded and regulated while processing emotion kind of sounds impossible when you think about it. I definitely don't FEEL grounded when crying or allowing myself to purge deeply hidden emotion, but the knowledge that "this too shall pass" is something I really try to hold onto when I have to move through difficulty.

I also turn to self care as much as possible because it keeps me from the running and numbing like my parents did when we were kids. (Shout out to my EMDR therapist, for the time they spent helping me to process rather than avoid what was really happening.)

This little Venus-North Node conjunction suggests that, in order to move through our soul's evolution on this plane, we may need to process a familiar pattern to gain higher awareness of what causes us to repeat that pattern.

Notice I said "may." This time could also show you how far you've come and you may not have many triggers about the past, but rather glimmers about how far you've come that appear. This can be equally healing and bring in tears of joy.

This simply means we have to allow ourselves to feel whatever comes to the surface right now. And like I've said in my social media videos, this can be messy and ugly and honestly temporarily, seemingly unhinged.

Try your best not to go back to familiar patterns or to disconnect from the shadow work being brought to you by Venus right now. But also stay open to the glimmers, because there will be many. This is what is needed to completely break free from the past, into a new, more abundant, and more loving timeline.

Going through this wildly transformative month of healing with a clear understanding of what is actually happening, rather than compulsively repeating patterns and staying bound to our triggers, has the potential to inject in us an antidote that will help to fully close out cycles and at the same time emancipate us from the past.

You are absolutely capable friend. This is your time.

Happy weekend, you deserve all the good.
