Saturn Retrograde | Embrace Your Inherent Worth
Okay, so before I dive right into our next New Moon phase, I wanted to dedicate some time to talk about Saturn going retrograde.
The two planetary aspects happen at the same time(ish) on the 17th, and Saturn, the planet of Karma, is not playing around.
Saturn Retrograde is quite literally here to help us learn that emotional or spiritual growth is just as necessary as financial growth in our human experience.
As this last eclipse season wanted to give us poignant lessons in letting scarcity go and connecting more deeply to self-worth, Saturn is here to seal the deal with lessons about giving our energy away.
So, whether it's your life force or your money, it aims to show us our inherent worth. This is a gooood thing, and I’ll tell you why.
Saturn rules our sense of accountability and values. So this will be a time when we are shown what we are responsible for and what we are not. It will also show us what we’ve been denying as our responsibility too. And I’m not just talking about old parking tickets here, it’s things like getting a lower rate on insurance, cleaning up your digital subscriptions, stopping shopping out of emotional need rather than actual need, and putting simplicity first when it comes to self-care.
The more I meditate on this, the more I’m beginning to realize that Saturn is here to teach us that simplicity is a luxury and free time is our most expensive commodity.
Allow this information to roll in and out of your awareness and open up to all options around giving and receiving.
Saturn also urges productivity, so when it’s in retrograde, it may also want to switch up how you’ve been operating in your day-to-day.
I say this because Saturn retrogrades in Pisces, and that is a sign where we may be tempted to stray from routine or simply not have the energy and desire to keep operating as we were before. You may be tempted to leave your job, take more time off, or simply blow off commitments. This may be the shakedown you never knew you needed, or it might be a great time at first with a reality check later.
As I alluded to above, this could also VERY well result in a lesson in receiving. Yep, you could learn that help is all around you, and all you have to do is ask. This will entirely depend on your openness and willingness to be honest with your needs.
Have you been taking a sober look at finances and seeing where you could improve on spending? Perhaps over the last few months, you’ve been earnest in recognizing patterns like spending money when you’re feeling stressed or insecure.
Maybe it is just time to get really clear about savings goals or nailing down what it is you’d like your future to look like?
It may feel overwhelming, and you may need to take pause where you didn’t before, but this is a theme that lasts through November 4th.
These next few months aim to teach us that true receiving is quite simple and pretty pure vibrationally. You don’t have to strain or do a song and dance to get what you need because you deserve to get your needs met. I’ll provide some mantras and exercises in the weeks ahead to get you started but just know this: YOU are in charge of this life, and you get to decide which way is your way.
With that in mind, here are our mantras for the week:
I am as abundant as I allow, my ability to receive has no limits.
I am clear to receive.
I am true in my intention and worthy of gifts.
There is no wrong way to use these, I will say my Monday mantra in the morning or whenever I sit down for a meal. This sets the intention bright and early and when I take the time to nourish myself. Do what feels right for you 💕.
