August 26th Crystal Prescription: Labradorite, Iolite, Hematite

Today, Uranus in Gemini makes an exact sextile to Neptune retrograde in Aries. Both planets sit at the first degree, which means we are not in the middle of the story, we are standing at the very first page. This is the first exact meeting in a series that will carry us straight into June of 2027. For  this transit I am prescribing Labradorite, Iolite, and Hematite.

This aspect is like a mystical upgrade, Uranus cracks open the mind with innovation and flashes of higher truth, while Neptune retrograde dissolves illusions and asks us to see with spiritual clarity rather than fantasy.

Uranus will deliver “aha” moments and sudden awakenings, and Labradorite is the stone of synchronicity and hidden truths. It helps reveal the mystical threads beneath reality (Neptune) while protecting against overwhelm from too much psychic input.

In this transit, Labradorite acts like a prism: catching the lightning-bolt insights of Uranus and refracting them into intuitive clarity.

Because Neptune retrograde can blur boundaries and bring up confusion, I’ve selected Iolite because it’s a navigational stone, and sailors once used it to find true direction by the sun. Here, it’s like your inner compass: pointing you toward higher alignment and truth when illusions or self-deception surface.

Iolite takes the inspiration of Uranus and the dreamscapes of Neptune and helps you discern what’s vision, and what’s illusion.

Finally, Hematite is here because Uranus + Neptune can both be airy, visionary energies that risk leaving us ungrounded. Hematite’s iron-rich vibration anchors you back into the body.
