This necklace is composed entirely of Aura (gold coated) Citrine accented with Gold Fill spacer beads within the design, creating a piece that feels powerful, and energetically alive. The necklace measures approximately 13 inches in length and is finished with a 3 inch Gold Fill extender chain and Gold Fill clasp, allowing it to be worn as either a choker or a collar style necklace depending on desired fit. Beads are natural, delicate 2.5-3.5mm crystalline chips, which has been a new variety for me this year. Because each piece is created using natural stones, slight variations in color, formation, and translucency are part of what makes every necklace unique.
Aura coating is a process where a natural stone, in this case Citrine, is coated in a fine layer of white gold. This coating creates a luminous, iridescent shimmer across the surface of the stone, giving it a glowing “aura” that catches and reflects light in a way that untreated stone doesn’t. The result is a heightened is layered energy on top of the stone’s natural energy, amplifying its brightness and giving the piece an extra dimension.
Gold has long been associated with refinement and higher vibration, so the aura layer is often felt to lift and brighten the stone’s effects, making its energy feel more immediate, magnetic, and activating while the coating simultaneously acts as a subtle shield, reflecting away heavier or lower energy before it reaches the wearer. The result is a stone that feels both deeply rooted and luminously expansive at once
And Citrine has long been associated with manifestation, abundance, confidence, creativity, motivation, and personal power. It is often connected to the Solar Plexus Chakra because of the way it supports self trust, visibility, forward movement, and the ability to take up space without collapsing inward. Unlike energies that feel forceful or performative, Citrine tends to work by strengthening internal belief systems first, helping someone reconnect to their own capacity, desires, ideas, and sense of possibility.
There is also something emotionally restorative about Citrine when worn close to the body. Many people are naturally drawn toward it during periods where they are rebuilding after burnout, heartbreak, prolonged self doubt, creative exhaustion, or seasons where survival required them to become smaller versions of themselves. It encourages movement without creating urgency, helping the nervous system reconnect to hope, vitality, pleasure, and momentum in a way that feels sustainable rather than performative.
Because the necklace sits closely along the neckline, the energy of the beads becomes especially noticeable when worn. The piece feels bright, magnetic, and highly activating while still maintaining a sense of balance through the repetition and symmetry of the stones throughout the design.
